Position Summary
The incumbent will be responsible for formulating and applying mathematical modelling and
other optimizing methods to develop and interpret information that assists in developing logic
and data which enables the organisation to develop a warehouse process and layout design.
The incumbent will also be responsible for maintaining client relations and independent
customer interactions during the course of a project.
The incumbent should have an understanding of Logistics and Supply Chain Management.
This includes but is not limited to the following:
- Prepare response templates to source data from clients.
- Identify and define business problems, such as those in production and logistics.

Collect and organise information from a variety of sources, such as computer
databases.

Gather inputs from persons involved in all aspects of the problem or others who
have specialised knowledge.

Examine data to understand issues relevant to the problem and what methods
should be used for analysis.

Advise managers and other decision makers on the impact of various course of
action to take in order to address the problems.

Write reports and make presentations outlining their findings and
recommendations for clients.
