Position Summary
The incumbent will be responsible for formulating and applying mathematical modelling and other optimizing methods to develop and interpret information that assists in developing logic and data which enables the organisation to develop a warehouse process and layout design.
The incumbent will also be responsible for maintaining client relations and independent customer interactions during the course of a project.
The incumbent will be responsible for leading a team of assistant consultants and illustrators.
The incumbent should have an understanding of Logistics and Supply Chain Management.
This includes but is not limited to the following:

Perform Project Management activities, not limited to the following, like Resource scheduling, Team formation, Task allocation, Team management.
- Examining the existing warehousing processes & identifying opportunities of improvement.
- Examining data to understand the methodology of analysis.
- Analysing throughputs by conducting GAP Analysis, Time & Motion Study, Regression, Sequencing, Slotting, etc.
- Statistically analysing design specific elements with regards to space optimization and resource utilization, Designing Warehouse’s internal and external process solutions and layouts for various operating areas.
- Prepare response templates to source data from clients.
- Collect and organise information from a variety of sources, such as computer databases.
- Gather inputs from persons involved in all aspects of the problem or others who have specialised knowledge.
- Advise managers and other decision makers on the impact of various course of action to take in order to address the problems.
- Configuring the material storage and handling equipment specifications.
- Write reports and make presentations outlining their findings and recommendations for clients.
- Developing schedules for personal, client and vendor related deliverables.
- Conduct business development activities; identification, acquisition, and management of client accounts.
- Identifying businesses for strategic alliances.
- Defining Service Scope and Preparing Quotations / Offers.
- Conducting various marketing and sales activities.
- Managing Client accounts.
